This is The Best Street Food in All of Italy

When it comes to food, Italy is known for its fresh ingredients, delicious wine, and hard, crunchy bread. Italians pride themselves on using ingredients that are both fresh and grown locally which in my opinion, is the best combination for an amazing meal. That is why one place in all of Italy stands out to me as the number one place to have a heavenly meal, on the go.

Upon arrival you will notice that All’Antico Vinaio has two locations, directly across the street from each other. One side is the bakery and the other is the sandwich shop. The bakery bakes 100% of the bread used in the sandwich shop. If you stick around long enough you will see them carry bread from the bakery across the street.

All’Antico Vinaio is by far the best place to get a truly authentic italian sandwich. Not only is the food to die for, but it is extremely cheap as well. A sandwich (at last check) cost only €5 and an additional €2 for wine that you can pour yourself. You can then sit on the curbside and watch people and traffic while enjoying your truly authentic Italian sandwich and wine. All’Antico Vinaio is one of those places that you experience once and you never forget. Since discovery, I have referred countless people to this restaurant and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

While this is only one of many incredible places to eat in Italy, this has become the focal point of my visits to Florence. Check out some other amazing photos of All’Antico Vinaio below. Buon appetito!
